A 17-year-old pregnant Tausug woman was allegedly beheaded by the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG); this shocking information came from no less than President Rodrigo Duterte himself.
Duterte made the revelation during an event at Davao City on Thursday, September 1, in an attempt to highlight the extent of the terror group’s barbarity against innocent people; comparing them to the notorious terrorist Islamic State in the Middle East.
“Sabi ng military, may dinecapitate na namang Muslim na Tausug na babae, buntis. Itong Abu Sayyaf, they do not live by the laws of civilization. Evil talaga sila eh,”InterAksyon quoted Duterte as saying.

Duterte said he cannot stand the Abu Sayyaf, calling them ‘idiots’, for their notoriety and lawlessness.
“How can you kill a pregnant woman? Putulan mo ng ulo? Bata, ‘yung 17 years old. I cannot stand these idiots. Nilulublob ‘yung tao sa harap ko, pareho ng ISIS,” the president said.

Abu Sayyaf, who has pledged allegiance to ISIS, has been accused of kidnapping and beheading tourists and some of the captives in Mindanao, including 18-year-old Filipino hostage Patrick Almodovar whose remains were recovered by authorities in Sulu late last month after his parents failed to pay the ransom.
The group also claimed responsibility for the bombing of a night market in Davao City Friday night; killing 14 innocent people and injuring more than 60 others.
Meanwhile, Brig. Gen. Restituto Padilla Jr., spokesman of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), said more than 7,000 soldiers have been deployed recently in Sulu as fighting intensifies between the bandits and the government troops.
Padilla also confirmed the ASG are now in the run after their numbers decreased because of the continuing military offensive in Patikul, Sulu; one of the group’s major hideouts in Mindanao.
