Highway Patrol Group seizes carnapped vehicle in Pagadian

The Highway Patrol Group -9 has intercepted a carnapped vehicle during the conduct of Anti-carnapping operations in Lumbia, Pagadian city.

HPG-9 Regional chief Sr Supt Joel Dimaano described the recovered unit as a white Mitsubishi Adventure with plate umber FQW 913.

Troopers conducting the opertation spotted and flagged down the Mitsubishi Adventure after observing the lack of a Land Transportation Office sticker for this year.

The driver, identified as Nile B. Palerof, a resident of Alaminos Laguna, presented xerox copies of his driver’s license and registration.

Troopers however found out that the vehicle is included in the list of alarm/stolen motor vehicles under alarm number 20140991.

The registered owner of the vehicle is a certain Grace Tan of Mesa Heights, Quezon City.

The unit is now impounded at Camp Abelon, Pagadian city.  (Allen Abastillas)
