TWO people were killed after they allegedly deceived their illegal drug trade cohorts in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported.
The Zamboanga Sibugay Police Office identified the victims as Jennie Paragas, 35; and, Wilmar Lumbar, 23, both farmers.
The police said the remains of the two were recovered around 7 a.m. Monday in a coconut kiln drier in the village of Bacao, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay.
The police said the victims were believed to have been killed Sunday evening as residents near the crime scene heard several gunshots on the same day.
The police added that the victims were on the way home when unidentified gunmen shot them.
